What we do with your Donations
100% of your donation – every single coin – goes directly to the projects and services Mundo Exchange supports. Mundo Exchange does have overhead costs that we, as directors, pay for as part of our contribution to support the work we are accomplishing. Your Donation supports the following:
- EDUCATION – Giving the gift of learning to ALL children, NOT just those priveledged enough to afford the school fees for inscription, uniforms, and transportation
- HEALTH AND WELFARE – Combating malnutrition, Ensuring the elder and disabled have safe homes, Helping the poor access medical services
- SAFE SHELTERS – Build or Remodel Safe, Secure Homes for Children, Elders and Families
- ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROJECTS
Your donations go to communities and individuals who are often marginalized and have struggled to secure basic human needs such as sufficient food, health care, clean water, housing, education, and sometimes even recognition that they exist.
Your financial and volunteer contributions to Mundo Exchange, no matter how big or small, are directly invested into locally driven, sustainable and culturally sensitive community development and educational projects. This funding support is consistently monitored by on-site Mundo directors.
Our scholarships go to individuals who hope to provide leadership and learning exchanges with others in the world and in their own communities. Their progress is monitored through required written reports and ongoing personal contact and support. For many years we have sponsored individuals in both Thailand and Guatemala who could not otherwise obtain an education. Our recipients all agree to “pay-it-forward” to their family and community.
